In Summary: The Research Code exists to make science clear, reliable, and meaningful. We are editorially independent, fact-check everything we publish, and are transparent about how we work — including our use of AI tools.
The Research Code exists to make science clear, reliable, and meaningful. We translate research into stories that matter, connecting scientific knowledge with the real-world questions you're asking.
No advertiser, sponsor, or partner tells us what to write or how to write it. Our editorial decisions are ours alone. When an author shares their opinion, it's theirs, not necessarily ours.
Every claim we publish needs to be backed by solid evidence and credible sources. Our editors review everything before it goes live. If we get something wrong, we fix it quickly and tell you what we changed.
We cite our sources. Plagiarism, data manipulation, and misrepresentation have no place here. Everything we publish respects copyright and gives proper credit. We don't twist statistics or visuals to mislead.
AI is changing how we work, and we're using it thoughtfully. Writers might use AI tools for grammar checks, translations, organizing research notes, or improving readability. But the thinking, analysis, and writing? That's always human.
We see AI as a helpful assistant, not a replacement for expertise. Every piece still needs human review, fact-checking, and editorial judgment. If AI played a meaningful role in shaping an article, we'll let you know. We never use AI to manipulate images or data in misleading ways.
Our content is for learning and information, not medical advice, legal counsel, or financial guidance. If you need that kind of help, please talk to a qualified professional.
